Ke Pangkuan Bonda
Check out this photo from thechicken video I took in my village during Raya 2011. hahaha
The video tells a simple story about the good values we learn from our parents and the values we pass on to our children through old family traditions. Ke Pangkuan Bonda is inspired by the saying "Home is in the heart". A gentle family getaway that welcomes an idyllic holiday. Oh... I miss my neighborhood and my grandma!
Speaking of going back to my hometown , this is my first time celebrating Eid as a woman. And I am very happy to celebrate it in my husband's village in Kedah. Ryan used to brag that Keda was very funny. Yes, yes. I can really imagine him knowing that his family is so warm, fun and friendly, just like a real Kedahan. Yes, yes. I was looking forward to meeting his grandfather and the rest of his uncles/aunts and family. It's so shiokkk! ;) What I wasn't looking forward to was......the traffic!!! It will be a very interesting trip for us. No... make sure you keep plenty of coffee in the car!
However, before the launch of the webcast, PETRONAS also announced the Hari Raya "Coffee Break" campaign to raise road safety awareness among motorists on their way home.
So if you feel sleepy or tired from driving, take a break, refresh yourself with free coffee and snacks at 39 PETRONAS stations from July 25-26 and August 1-2.
XOXO,
