The Bachelorette Spa Party

Preparing and preparing for the wedding involves a lot of planning, and the savvy bride should know that her beauty preparations should be at the top of the priority list. - Directly above floral arrangements and directly below lobby registrations. Hehe I have so many special treats that need to be done for my big day, blame it on the stress. So like any bride I needed skin, teeth, nails, feet, hair (just because I wear a hijab doesn't mean I'm entitled to a bad hair day, right? So do you. Me too. I'm sure my husband thinks I have beautiful hair ;p) too. Beautiful body, etc. So for my wedding in Indonesia I had a lot of spa treatments while making one of my wedding dresses. - Kill two birds with one stone, right? lol

Even though I covered the beauty basics leading up to my big day, there were still a few things I couldn't get my hands on. For example, like my teeth. I was so busy traveling that I missed my last appointment with my dentist and had my teeth whitened. I cleaned them but did not touch them. (Okay, they're not that yellow, but you know it's not perfect. I had to repair and fix my teeth (with fillings) and whiten them a week before the wedding, but some things came out, I can. t. Sorry.

Oh man... I wish my favorite drink in the world wouldn't even stain my teeth. Ladies, if you want perfect wedding teeth , never drink coffee. Yes, yes

Another thing I missed my target was of course my weight. I was 60 kg, yes.. fat. Hahaha I wanted to be really thin for my wedding. My goal was 100-100 pounds, but I only lost 10 pounds before marriage. About 55 kg per lah yang map! tskkkk - It's hard to lose 15kg in 3 months when your fiance takes you out all the time. T__T:

However, the other beauty treatments I had were skin, hair and body treatments. I spent a lot of spa time with my fiancé at the amazing Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa in Jakarta. I'm lucky to have a partner who loves going to the spa as much as I do. So, I visited Jakarta several times before the wedding and had the opportunity to enjoy a luxurious spa treatment at their massage parlor to calm the pre-wedding frenzy. I have been here for a few weeks. So, all the amazing blessings of Teman saree helped me relax and reduce my pre-wedding shots a bit. Every time I went to Taman Ser, I spent 4-6 hours. It's a great place.

So I wanted to enjoy the week before my wedding and have the most beautiful session before tying the knot. Of course, we couldn't fly to Jakarta then, so I planned to get pampered at a spa near Jakarta.

This is Villa Manja in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

The place is very nice and quiet...

Today the spa was awarded "Best Day Spa" by Expatant Lifestyle.

Upon arrival I was greeted by the lovely Mariana the spa manager.

Future bride.

and daughters-in-law.

Anyway, I wanted to enjoy the spa myself first...but then I thought why not give my friends, the bridesmaids, a little "token of appreciation" for what they gave me at my wedding. . So these are the treatments that should be chosen within 1.5 hours. Until I spammed for 3.5 hours. Oh luck!

Floral headache, anyone?

The session begins with steam.

One of the girls in my duolang is this Tammy and Hannah.
^__^

... Here I am after a hot session. Yes, yes. I forgot to remove my mascara when I went to the steam room.

I was then taken to this room to enjoy a 2 hour chocolate scrub + massage and facial.

Man... this stuff smells amazing! Mariana told me that they use real cocoa. Excellent!

Then a flower bath.

I love Mandy's bungalow! They say it's good for the skin, but what about Nike? I'm not sure, but I felt really good afterwards.

Then I had a very relaxing hot stone massage...

After all the mandis and massages, Marianne gave the girls another treatment: a shoulder massage and a foot bath.

Intan, Liana, Rina and Tia with the girls... Some of them leave quickly. (We were there until dark!)

Hot water with orange slices to soak our tired feet. (Sorry for the poor picture quality. It's an iPhone camera with low light. huhu)

Rina and Tia enjoy orange coffee trails

Yes... that's how you clean, baby.

What's a spa (spa + party) without food? After 3 hours of treatment, Maria gave us free food. Must love her, the cutest and best spa manager I've ever met.

She prepared Villa Manja's special ginger tea (so delicious) and a welcome treat after the massage and spoiled us all with delicious food. Bihun, kuih-muh, fruit, orange juice and tea.

I love their curry leaves.

We love Villa Manja.

It was one of the best girl's dates of my life. It's great to be with girlfriends, talk about women, and end my single life. Thanks for a great time girls! We have to do this frequently. Next up... maybe a slumber party? If your husband and parents give you the green light, la! LOL..

By the way, in case you're wondering, the total spa session per guest is 3 hours, but the actual spa session depends on the number of guests. In the 3-Hour Spartan, guests have private use of the dining room, which includes the following mini-menu meals.
  • Free use of steam bath
  • Shoulder and neck massage with hot stone
  • Full body massage
  • Orange Coffee Foot Bath (Binding and Exfoliating)
  • Hot stone massage
  • Hand wash with honey milk (moisturizing and clarifying)
  • Hand massage
Prices vary from R150 per person or a maximum of R600 per party. (ie 10 people is RM1500, 3 people is 600 manat.) You can book and change the spa menu according to your budget.
