Ooh la laaa...

Who doesn't love scented candles?! I know it! I wear perfume almost every day because it's one of life's little pleasures for me: to smell beautiful and delicious. There's something special about smelling something that smells good, isn't there? I also love it when my room smells good!

A few days ago I discovered one of my Diptyque products. It was a scented candle called Jasmine. I am so excited to try the Satin Oil Massage Oil! I have been boxing for 4 months. This is one of my Hantaran gifts from my husband . At our wedding, we swapped Diptyque products as one of the Hantaran bath and body kits. To be honest....we haven't actually "traded" with them! They are still mine! hahaha what's mine is mine and what's yours is mine! Have you ever heard this expression? ;p Because you know that bath and body products are not suitable for my husband. The last time he bought them he knew they would still be mine! So she let me choose what I wanted to put on this tray for her: scented candles, toilet soap, perfume, soap and hand cream. SMILE. Obviously not for him! Hahaha. So he gave me everything! Ahhh.. what a good husband I have! Thank you for giving me "your" gifts, baby! hahaha

This French perfumer produces scented candles made from a blend of high-quality vegetable paraffin with a unique blend of lead-free cotton wicks and natural ingredients that burn cleanly and evenly to create incredibly evocative scents reminiscent of exotic locations. There are about 50 different fragrances divided into five categories: fruity, floral, herbal, spicy and woody, packaged in clear glass bottles with black and white labels. Awesome.

Anyway, one night I decided to create a romantic atmosphere, so I lit a scented jasmine candle... I put it on the nightstand, put some of this satin oil on it... and immediately go read!

My God. I've never been so excited to go to bed! I swear this scent gives you a sense of calm! Sounds like you are in a very happy place! It changed my mood a lot! I felt so relaxed...and light and happy! It's amazing how scent can evoke and influence mood!

I know the smell of lavender is relaxing, but I didn't know that lilac is also used to calm nerves! Now I never go to sleep without lighting a scented jasmine candle! haha

Hmmm. No wonder it makes me feel so good!

Some scented candles can smell different when lit, but Diptyque candles capture the scent of the wax very accurately! So you have to imagine that your room is filled with the fragrance that you inhale in glass containers when you buy candles from a boutique.

I burn all night, from 10 pm to 8 am! It just smells amazing!!! I swear! Even after 10 minutes of burning, your room will be filled with a clean aroma that won't hit your nose or make you sneeze, but it certainly won't go unnoticed! And surprisingly, a few hours after the candle went out, there was still a faint smell in my room! I'm in love! ^___^

I woke up with a very happy mood on my face! I even had funny dreams for 3 days in a row! I rarely dream in my life.. But 3 nights of happy dreams?! Oh, now I really believe that perfume can really change your mood and improve your mood! Nose only knows what works for you! Ooh la la la... love quality candles! You will definitely be on my can't live without list for giving me such happy dreams! hahaha

Anyway, ever since that night I've been burning my Diptyque candles... My husband knows how much I appreciate bath and body products... and I love anything that smells good. And the other day, for our four month anniversary, she gifted me this beautiful set from another designer fragrance brand, Jo Malone.

Jo Malone was one of the brands I tried before our recent Hantaran wedding gift purchase. In fact, I also wanted to buy Jo Malone products for our Hantaran bath and body kit. But after much thought, I believe that Diptyque has more body products than Jo Malone, so I chose and bought Diptyque products for both our hantarana bowls . (We'll talk about the wedding hantaran later, yes. I know many of you have been asking me to blog about it!) Sync our hantaran wedding gifts! I think it's cute. haha. But I found that Diptyque is more than just a huge selection of products, so I decided to buy Diptyque products for each and every one of them . So goodbye Jo Malone. sad

But I think my husband knows me well, the last time we were there he knew I would like Jo Malone products. About two weeks ago she gifted me these two bottles of Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay, Peony & Blush Suede and a limited edition scented candle in a beautifully elegant package because she knew I would have a hard time choosing between Jo Malones. & Diptyque when we bought Chantaran last November! hahaha Thank you Hubba for this wonderful gift!

I love them! They taste great! I can't wait to use them! For some reason I think Jo Malone candles smell better than Diptyque! But I don't know, we'll see! Can't wait to fire it up! ;)

I now have Jo Malone in my scented candle collection! Yes!

Honestly, when you find a scent you fall in love with, it's hard not to want to wear it every day! Considering the wide range of fragrances available in the market, I think there is something in store for everyone! But then your only problem is maintaining what can become a very expensive habit! — Once you get used to the magical smell of your room, it's hard to go back! Oh no!
